As I watched in awe- I will forever remember this day! My eyes were opened to the closeness of ABUSE! The sadness of losing a LOVED ONE way too SOON! My heart aches for the family and friends' of Kristie. One year ago she was killed by her boyfriend:( Abuse and Domestic abuse are all around us and sometimes it is happening to people you would never expect!
As I was capturing moments of the day- I am in love with this black and white pic- some how through the pain of a daughter lost- a MOM's love shines through and her smile can brighten the whole room.
What a FUN event Kristie's Friend, Kim put on... Raffles, awareness, and ZUMBA! Too bad I was having to hold the camera still- I was hard not to join in on the dancing!!! LOL
Another Moment cherished- Kristie's Dad shows appreciation for all that was done on this day!!!!

This event alone raised..... Are you ready???? OVER $4000- What a blessing for Safe Haven House!
Safe Haven Ministries and Women at Risk were also there to raise awareness!
What a Great Event- sad for why it has come together- but hopefully the awereness will prevent another one lost! At the end of the day- Kim and Amy announced this will be an annual event - And it will be in October!
